Our mission for this website is to create a database of information about Concordia College history that will act as a resource for students and teachers on National History Day. Additionally, we will provide a list of resources and links to help further in this research. |
This website was created through a semester-long collaboration for the Hist 325 Doing Digital History class taught by Dr. Joy Lintelman at Concordia College, Moorhead, MN. This website was created in spring semester 2018. The following students were a part of this collaboration.

Alex Werk
Alex is a junior at Concordia College - Moorhead. Born and raised in Fargo, North Dakota. He is currently pursuing a Business Degree in Marketing and Management. Alex is also a part of the Men’s Golf program at Concordia. Other than the Cobber Community, he works for the Fargo Youth Hockey Association as a Head Coach for the Fargo Freeze. After graduating in May of 2019, he hopes to find a fun job in the sports marketing/sales industry and see where it takes him. |
Margaret Noah
Margaret is a junior at Concordia College - Moorhead, originally from Fargo, North Dakota. She is currently pursuing a double major of English Literature and Heritage/Museum Studies with a Women’s/Gender Studies minor as a third generation Cobber. On campus, Margaret works as a Student Manager for Dining Services as well as being involved in Narrative4 and various clubs. After graduating in May 2019 from Concordia, she plans to pursue a Master’s degree in Library Science and utilize that degree as a librarian. |
Merry Blomquist
Merry is a freshman at Concordia College - Moorhead, graduating in 2021. Raised in Andover, Minnesota, she currently lives in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. She is a Heritage and Museum Studies major and an English Writing minor pursuing a career as a curator. Merry has participated in choir on campus and currently works in Dining Services as a Service Worker. After graduating, she is considering continuing her studies in Library Science. |
Rachel Olson
Rachel is a junior at Concordia College - Moorhead. She is from Big Lake, Minnesota and is working towards a Major in Heritage and Museum Studies with minors in Scandinavian Studies, Norwegian, and Classical Studies. Rachel is a part of the Concordia College Symphonic Band and the Symphonia Orchestra. After Graduating in May 2019 she hopes to work at a Museum that specializes in Scandinavian culture. |
